Currently, I am making custom tattoos out of an appointment-based private studio in the heart of West Chester, Pennsylvania. My favorite projects to focus on are hand-drawn, large scale, multi-session pieces that are made to fit someone's exact body. Smaller pieces are always welcome, and occasionally I have last minute openings where I offer an available spot for those pieces. I greatly enjoy making animals, creatures, things with teeth and claws, sci-fi/fantasy imagery, Japanese inspirations, natural elements, and all forms of exaggerated storytelling. I love when I am brought a rough, undeveloped concept or story that just can't seem to be found on Google. After discussing the concept, taking measurements, and scheduling a consultation or even two if needed, we will jump headfirst and build your project. My goal is to prioritze composition, dynamicism, and a placement of the tattoo that will be complemented and emphasized by your body's natural movements. Fit and flow is paramount. As long as we are drawing it, and I think I can deliver the product successfully, I'll likely take on the job.
As far as styles go, I'd prefer to utilize whatever aspects of design that are needed to carry out the feeling necessary for that specific piece. A little of this, a little of that. To get a grasp on how I draw, render, and compose, my instagram should give you a visual example.
At any point in time, I have a list of original concepts, along with a pile of sketches and thumbnails that I'd love to make a tattoo out of. These are usually ideas that are a little more experimental, often asking for a little bit more trust and flexibility in the process. The subject matter is all over the place. It spans from creatures, animals, science fiction and fantasy imagery, to japanese, decorative elements, and some exaggerated interpretations of classic tattoo imagery.
